Chicago: Daly wants to send gun industry lawsuit to World Court

Six years after the state Supreme Court dismissed his $433 million lawsuit against the gun industry, Mayor Daley today called for a change of venue -- to the World Court normally reserved for disputes between nations and crimes against humanity.

OK, there is so very much wrong with the stated "needs" and "justifications" quoted (such as the Mexico City Mayor stating that the Mexican drug cartels get 85% of all their guns from the U.S.), but this one takes the cake:

(Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia) "People are being killed every day in the United States of America with illegal weapons. I love the 2nd Ammendment. [But], I have a 1st Ammendment right not to be shot."

Please, Mr. Mayor, exactly WHICH part of "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." defines your right NOT to be shot? Is Philadelphia the home of some kind of Homer Simpson mayor?
