Drive the Merritt parkway in Connecticut if you want to see deer.
Live deer, dead deer.
This should raise hell with the hairy spotted owl lovers in Connecticut.

Driving from N.Y. to Milford Conn. area. I must have counted 20 deer eating grass along side the highway. Another dozen or so were killed by vehicles.
I have not hunted in Connecticut since I was a kid many years ago.
But each time they planned a hunt the damn wack balls would follow the hunters around making noise so they would not hurt the precious creatures.
Guess they would rather they starved to death in the winter, smashed thought there car windows, or died of disease.
