A student who wants to form a gun rights group at the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh has been threatened with disciplinary action for her efforts, reports the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education.Student Christine Brashier says administrators banned her informational pamphlets, ordered her to destroy all copies of them and told her that further "academic misconduct" would not be tolerated.

Isn't that kind of hypocritical? It is okay to only talk about certain things, so the 1st amendment is limited that far, what about the other ones?

It should be okay to talk about anything, talking and doing are 2 completely different things. In social studies we were just talking about this, there is pure speech, which is nothing but talking, but then there is speech+ I think it was called, and that is like talking about killing someone while you have a knife in your hand.
