The state has spoken, again, on the matter of guns, and this time it does not want to be ignored: since 1987, local governments in Florida have been banned from creating and enforcing their own gun ordinances.

This will get interesting.
Too simplify the problem.
Development is moving in on A.O.s where people have been safely shooting for years.
Conflict begins, when some guy builds a home near another guys 1000 acre farm and does not like the sound of gunfire.
Now if some idiot goes too a park where kids are playing and shoots in the air. He should be arrested on the spot.
But this law will help us down here in Florida, so we can safely shoot in rural A.O.s..
Good law.
If people use commons sense and dont abuse it.
It will help us all in pro gun Florida.

again, rarely to we get credit, but this came about because of the members and attorney's on our site Florida Concealed carry who A) filed law suits against several counties and B) the interaction with Marion Hammer and our group to put pressure on our elected officials.
