Florida is a pretty darn good gun friendly State. Most of the population down here, is condensed along the coastal A.O.s

Yes, Florida has been called the "Gunshine State" for good reason. I love it here, even the LEOs I treat tell me it is a good idea to carry a weapon, even they admit they can't be everywhere.
