Florida speeding up Right-to-Carry permit renewals

Florida is speeding up the process for renewing concealed weapons permits to meet a growing demand from gun owners. Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam was on hand at his Fort Walton Beach office on Tuesday to announce the new process. It's one of eight regional offices across Florida where license holders can obtain same day renewals.

Glad to hear I got 6 more years to find out how much faster, I just renewed last year for the new 7 year permit/license. when they where 5 year permits/licenses it was a long wait, but at least they gave us plenty of time to renew

shocked that the number of permit have increased, I bet a fair portion are non-residents applying, after this incident here in florida, that is the darling of the media I assume the applications will double
