Georgia: Firearms Destruction Prevention Legislation and Employee Protection Amendmen

With this Wednesday being the last day for the Georgia Senate to consider Senate bills before "crossover," it is vital that Senate Bill 350, firearms destruction prevention legislation, be brought to the Senate floor with the crucial employee protection amendment introduced by state Senator Don Balfour (R-9).  The Balfour amendment would allow transportation and storage of firearms in locked personal vehicles while on publicly-accessible parking lots.

There are many guns that get taken into Police property (for one reason or another) and if not claimed they are destroyed, It breaks my heart all the time to see boxes of them going to the chipper.
