As the 2009 stateâs Legislative Session comes to a close in Vermont, pro-gun enthusiasts can take credit for gaining ground against animal rights extremists who sought to infringe on Second Amendment rights. Attempts to outlaw âcoyote contestsâ with SB 113 were rebuffed. HB 313 legalizes the purchase of long guns from non-contiguous states. Thank you to all those who contacted their legislators during the session for making your voices heard on these important issues.
