In April, the Toledo-based Ohio Coalition Against Gun Violence testified against the bill. Executive Director Toby Hoover told us on Wednesday: "It's a message again that you can go ahead and use deadly force and I think that's the wrong message. That shouldn't be your first avenue."
Statements like this make me sick. How can anyone say that homeowners shouldn't be able to protect property as well as they're lives. I don't feel that anyone that tries to get into my house or car uninvited even has the right to life. They give that up when they attempt to force their way in no matter what the reason.
