Yesterday, Senate File 456 was signed into law by Governor Terry Branstad and will immediately go into effect. SF 456 will improve the language under last sessionās "shall-issue" carry reform law and allow Iowa state law to meet the requirements set forth in the federal NICS Improvement Amendments Act (NIAA) of 2007.
