Yesterday, House Bill 500, legislation to further strengthen the firearms preemption law in Kentucky, passed in the state House of Representatives by an overwhelming 88 to 8 vote.  HB 500 will now head to the state Senate for its consideration.  This legislation is expected to be heard in the Senate Judiciary Committee within the next two weeks.
