Funny, just like in DC and Chicago, if the taxpayers are footing the bill they will pass laws left and right, knowing they are illegal and will be struck down after a long and expensive fight in the courts. Chicago can't even afford to pay their cops, and yet will spend millions defending their latest round of laws designed to "thumb their collective nose at the Supreme Court".

Reach into their own pockets, however, and they roll over faster than a Ford Explorer on underinflated Firestones! It's about time!

Were lucky down here kernel..
Remember, Florida took a lot of heat, when they passed the "shall issue" act.
Liberal news blazed the headlines. "Florida too turn into the wild west."
Florida basically said, if their is no legal ground too not issue, they had too give us a permit too carry.
Crime stats fell through the floor, soon after the act was passed.
Setting a precedent for other states too follow.
For sure upset the Brady Bunch "Hi Sarah" I know your reading this, when their "wild west" theory did not come through.
Get on the site Sarah. Tell us what you and Nappy and Hitlary, and Bloomwit have planned for the future.
Again and again we tell you. Criminals dont fear the Police. They fear the armed "legal" gun carrying citizen. Some day you will understand.

They don't want to hear the truth, it's all about control. Why can't gun owners understand this and confront it on that basis. Remember that these people in the guberment just are on a control kick and that's the bottom line!!! Makes no differance what the stats say. They just want to control the way you think, act and conform, and as I said before, I never really conformed that well. My .02.

I dont know. I really do believe their mentality is, they can get every gun off the streets.
They are living in fantasy land, I can understand their motives.
What worries me more is, what are the likes of the Soros types who are backing these people.
What are their worries of an armed populace?
Soros as a young Hungarian Jew. Collaborated with the nazis. Helping too march them and many others, off too the killing fields.
Is he worried of a failed economy he helped create and the people hunting him like the animal he is?

MIAMI, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Florida towns have begun taking down signs banning guns in parks and public buildings to comply with a new state law.

Under a bill passed by the Florida Legislature that takes effect Oct. 1, all counties and municipalities must repeal ordinances limiting guns, under penalty of fines of up to $5,000 for officials, and gun owners can sue for damages if they think their rights have been abridged.

Now only the Legislature can curb concealed weapons. Guns still are banned in schools or bars but may be brought into government buildings when a meeting is not progress. Private businesses can decide whether to allow guns.

"You're not going to have every Tom, Dick and Harry carrying a firearm on their person up and down the streets and into buildings because it's a felony" without a license to carry a concealed weapon, National Rifle Association lobbyist Marion Hammer told The Miami Herald. "Only close to a million people in the state are licensed to carry concealed [guns]."

Aaron Campbell, vice mayor of Miami Gardens, where last week two people were shot dead while filling up at a gas station, said: "This probably passed because of someone from the NRA, someone who doesn't care about urban conditions. It's sad that a piece of legislation can pass like this."
