Yesterday, the House Civil Law and Procedure Committee unanimously passed Senate Bill 303 sending it to the floor of the state House for consideration. This legislation, which would provide for the country’s strongest “right to keep and bear arms” constitutional amendment, still faces an uphill battle in the state House.  SB 303 has already passed in the state Senate and has been endorsed by Governor Bobby Jindal.
