Maryland: Court upholds state's gun laws

Maryland's highest court has ruled the state's handgun laws are still constitutional despite a 2008 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court that gutted gun statutes in D.C. In an opinion issued Wednesday, the Maryland Court of Appeals affirmed a gun possession charge levied in Prince George's County against Charles F. Williams, Jr.

I used to live in MD. It is a 'May Issue" concealed carry state, and they rarely issue them to anyone.

I subsequently moved to NV for a spell and it was a slightly better state. I lived in Clark county, where they required you to register your pistols with the local police and get a little blue card to possess them. The rest of NV wasnt that paranoid. But the police were helpful, when I asked where to shoot. They said , dont bother with a range, just drive to the nearest mountain and shoot at that, but carry your little blue cards.

Thank God I live in Texas now where I have a CHP, a FFL and I dont have register squat with anyone!
