Massachusetts: Showdown expected on gun rationing legislation

Gun control advocates and critics are gearing up for a showdown on Gov. Deval Patrick's crime bill in the waning days of this year's legislative session.Saying the matter could come to a vote as early as next week, the National Rifle Association this week asked supporters to call members of the House Ways and Means Committee to urge them to oppose Patrick's proposal.
