Michigan: Byron students allowed back in class
Four students who were suspended last month after weapons were found inside five vehicles in the Byron High School parking lot will be allowed to return to school this morning. School board members unanimously voted Monday to reinstate the students. The students were suspended Nov. 16 following a lockdown drill at the school. High school Principal Steven Vowles noticed a weapon inside a vehicle in the student parking lot, and searches of student vehicles were conducted on the second day of firearm deer hunting season.
