My Letter to the N.R.A.

To whom it may concern,
Recent, yet not surprising, information has come to light with our newly elected president and vice president regarding the new administrations' "urban policy". Part of this policy is outlined online at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and illustrates nothing less than utter contempt for our 2nd amendment freedoms as United States Citizens. Desire to repeal the Tiahart amendment and reinstate the assault weapons ban of 1994 as a permanant item is written in black and white.
As an avid gun enthusiast. member of the NRA and American citizen, I would like to know what the National Rifle Association is prepared to do against this threat?
I am glad to hear that the NRAILA has celebrated success in their action against the city of New Orleans, but like many, this seems reactive not proactive.
How is my membership going to work for US in the coming weeks and months?
