On July 1, 2011, Arizona and Kentucky will be added to the list of states from which Nevada will recognize concealed carry weapons permits (CCW), bringing the new total to fifteen states. In a meeting on May 5, the Nevada Sheriffs' and Chiefs' Association (NSCA) voted to add the two states and also determined that no states would be dropped from the approved list. This move hopefully signals that the NSCA is comfortable with allowing more law-abiding non-residents to carry in Nevada.
