House Bill 334 will be heard tomorrow, February 24, by the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee. The committee could also decide to vote on this important legislation tomorrow as well. HB 334 would strengthen New Hampshireâs current statewide firearms preemption law by further prohibiting local governments or state agencies from enacting ordinances or regulations relating to firearms. Over the past several years, local government and state agencies have attempted to regulate concealed-carry throughout New Hampshire. These types of regulations undermine the fundamental American principle of equal protection under the law for all citizens. Please contact members of the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee today and urge them to protect the Second Amendment rights of the law-abiding gun owners in New Hampshire by supporting HB 334.
