New Mexico: Restaurant Carry Referred to Committee in Santa Fe!

Senate Bill 40, sponsored by State Senator George Munoz, was ruled germane to the 30-day fiscal session and has been referred to the Senate Corporations & Transportation and Senate Judiciary Committees, in that order. Senate Bill 40 would allow concealed handgun licensees to lawfully carry handguns for self-defense in establishments licensed to serve beer and wine for consumption on the premises.
