While it sounds great to wolf-lovers & tree-huggers to have wolves listed as endangered species, only a fruitcake would want to be anywhere near wolves. Almost all (or all) wolves carry brainworms that are contagious to humans and are always fatal. The worm eggs are in the wolf's feces. The feces is deposited on the ground, dries out (or sublimes in arctic areas) and turns into a white powdery cake. The wind carries the eggs attached to minute specs of dried feces which are breathed in by any mamal in the area. Worm eggs hatch in lungs, enter circulatory system and lodge in brain capillaries. This is why wildlife researchers wear gasmasks when passing thru wolf habitat.
