Obama asks supporters to push Congress on gun control
 

In a video posted on the White House Web site, Mr. Obama responded to a petition demanding action on gun control. "We hear you," the president said as he again vowed to push to Congress in the new year to ban assault weapons and high capacity ammunition clips.
