At Tuesday afternoonâs Omaha City Council hearing, the proposed ordinance to require fingerprinting for all gun sales to âsecondhand storesâ was tabled for three weeks to allow for further review. This ordinance, if passed, would require gun stores to fingerprint anyone who sells a firearm to the store. It is important that you use this time to contact the City Council and urge them to oppose this proposal. Please contact the members of the City Council and respectfully voice your opposition to this measure. Contact information can be found here.
