Akron, Pennsylvania? Gotta be worse than Akron, Ohio!

C'mon Bob, take this "thing" off of autopilot!

    LOL on the bowling alley.

If Akron, PA is near Lancaster, PA it is beautiful country. I used to attend the Volkswagen auto auctions there and I love that area with it's heavy German heritage.

Germans not only love David Hasselhoff, they LOVE bowling!

It must have been a while since you were here, Lancaster area is getting built up pretty quick, not as much farm land as there use to be.

We are, and have been for a long time, ruining the "farm land" in this country with urban and suburban sprawl. This will come back to haunt us in years to come. With the advances in food production and market productivity brought about by better growing/harvesting methods and custom "plant" engineering with an eye on yield and disease deterrence, we can get more food from an acre than we did years ago.

So the farms disappear and houses/mall go up.

But sooner or later we will wish we had planted those acres in corn, beans or soy instead of building boring "Stater Mansions" for the bumper crop of Banking, Finance and Marketing Nerds that are choking our cities.

    Food will be King soon.
