As predicted, anti-gun amendments were filed for House Bill 40, NRA-backed Castle Doctrine legislation. As of this morning, these amendments had not been withdrawn and they will be voted on during todayâs House floor session on HB 40âs second consideration. These amendments include: mandatory storage, mandatory reporting of lost or stolen firearms and the so-called âFlorida Loophole,â among others. Please continue to call your state Representative IMMEDIATELY and urge him or her to support HB 40 with NO amendments.
