An armed robber entered the Stockton Pharmacy in Stockton, Calif., demanded money from the pharmacist and then ordered the worker to the ground. The pharmacist responded by retrieving a gun and firing at the criminal, who immediately fled to a getaway vehicle. It wasn’t immediately clear if the criminal was struck by the gunfire, but a man with a gunshot wound was discovered by police in another part of Stockton a short time later.In an interview with local media, Stockton police Det. Joe Silva noted that the pharmacist’s actions were appropriate.
