Pistol purchased by ATF agent found at alleged cartel crime scene in Mexico

Got me excited their for a minute. Thought it was the pistol that was stolen from my niece. Destroyed by the Police, actually exact words from a L.O. I grew up with.. "We melted it."
Four months later an ATF agent shows up, at her house, WITH the stolen weapon and buys it from my niece..
Ah it was an old WWII .45 she got from her grandfather.
Wrong type weapon, but maybe it will show up still at another crime scene if he sells it. Oh well..

i just don't know what kind of "relationship" the ATF has with the cartels ???
i wish the media would try to find out--but they ain't interested--
