Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!Gun control is a hotly contentious issue in the United States, where the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees citizens the right to "keep and bear arms," and powerful lobby groups routinely oppose almost every effort to restrict gun sales and ownership - and usually win.
Why not print a release that states Unicorns are real? We have restrictive gun sales and ownership laws, the "other side" has been winning for decades. I expect the AP to be slanted against firearm ownership, but that statement is beyond OP-ED and is embedded in a news release, not an editorial.
All the news that fits, they print. And if it doesn't fit, they simply make it up to suit.
I have a daughter. I tell her, "911 is what you dial after you're raped. 1911 is what you should have before they try."
don't rosie own the AP now?
this is going to be fun! lets get those countries that want this to send a few soldiers to afgan to pick up illegal weapons! let um put their money and blood where their mouth is!
the UN is one of those weirdo outfits where all these countries vote on absurd shit that is can not be enforced in any way and those same weirdo countries that voted the shit into law will not vote to send their forces! what a chicken shit outfit the UN is.
but they will damn sure vote in some stupid BS and expect the US to enforce the very thing they would not commit soldiers to! how fucking stupid and chicken shit is that?
