Someone tell the people of Komifronia the reason the Japanese did not do a follow up and attack Komifornia was the fear of the armed citizen. Not the military.
Yamamoto had plans to keep steaming west and hit the California coast. His advisor's warned him that the citizens were armed and his fears were, of course his supply lines, but also he did not want to fight the well armed populace of America.
