VA Senate Committee votes to impose restrictions on state's gun shows

A Senate committee has passed a bill to require private dealers at gun shows to perform background checks on buyers.The Senate Courts of Justice Committee voted 8-7 Monday for the legislation to close the so-called gun-show loophole, where private dealers are not required to perform the checks required of licensed gun dealers.
