In May, they packed the sheriff's lobby: women applying for weapons permits. It was more than a sign of the times. It's a trend that is growing by the week.And more people from every walk of life are getting those permits. Between YSO and YPD, nearly 2000 permits for concealed pistols were granted last year compared to just about 800 10 years ago. And we're on pace for even more this year.
