We hear, over and over again, that West Virginia's deer hunting seasons contribute mightily to the state's economy.The latest survey, issued in 2006, shows just how important hunting is in the Mountain State.The bottom line? Hunters pump $285 million a year into merchants' pockets.

Every camp in my area was full last week and every day I went out hunting the woods were packed with more hunters than deer....at least everywhere I went.

we are totally overrun with deer, lots of people hunt here, but its really seeming slow.

ive not even HIT a deer this year with my truck, last year i hit 3 in one week.
