Pastor Anthony Jobe was at home in Fort Worth, Texas, when a man rang his doorbell and then attempted to break in through a side door. Upon discovering the criminal, Jobe retrieved a gun and fired at the intruder, striking him and causing him to flee. The criminal was captured a short time later when he sought medical attention for his wounds. The intruder’s injuries have been reported as non-life-threatening.When interviewed by local media, Jobe stated, “That’s unfortunate, shooting pastor, I know… I shoot more as a hobby and I like to go to the gun range, but this is unfortunate that this happened like this, but you have to do what you have to do to protect your family.”
