I'm really surprised the law enforcement groups was smart enough to see the trouble of such a slow reaction to schools and malls valance. Sadly we will see what happens on the next bad event.

The pure irony is that many laws DECLARE that businesses keep thse types of signs posted in order for them to press charges against intruders or have them removed. For example-my local video store had a new "no concealed weapons" sticker on the door. So I asked the owner- apparently a WHACKO came in with a bandana and REAL sword and started yelling and swinging the sowrd. He was asked to leave, then went next door to the BLOOM grocery and did the same thing.
When the police showed up, they gave him a warning and let him go...clearly this man was not in charge of his faculties and has a dealy weapon that he was brandishing.
The police told the store owners that they NEEDED to post a sticker BANNING weapons and CCW weapons from the premisis?!?!?!?!?!
WTF?
I told the owner that I have had a CCW for 10 years and have NEVER show or had to use it in public. He agreed that it was a stupid policy, but simply wanted to keep the sword brandishing whacko from coming back. I suggested that he start carrying.
