Don't these need some additional parts to fit? I thought the Saigas do not have the same front trunion as the AKs. Thats why you need to get a special adaptor from Tromix before putting on a Galil style handguard which fits the AK without a problem.

Yep, i wish somebody would have told me that!

You need a Front Lower Handguard Retainer.
(they make clip ons, bolt ons, etc, if you get a regular one, you have to cut a small slit/notch on the bottom of the barrel so the retainer locks into place...regular ak-47's already have this notch pre-cut.....its easy as shit with a dremel or sawz-all,lol)

Then you need a new gas tube from a regular ak-47(bulgarian or hungarian works). You CAN use the stock gas tube from your Saiga, however you need to take a dremel or whatever and cut the heat-shield off first, so the new handguard can fit snug onto the top of the barrel.....regular ak-47's don't have heat shields obviously so there's no need for this.

I THINK that's all......

Check out dinzigarms.com, they have everything right there.

I have the new TAPCO tri rail hand guards that are made in the USA and will fit all Saiga rifles and shot guns except for the .410 shotgun. The list price is 49.99 but I sell them for $45.00. They are on my Saiga page. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
