Default SAIGA SHOTGUN

Hello!

I am rather unfamiliar/curious about the Saiga shotguns,

How does the gas port work in that shotgun?

can you use birdshots, do not they hit the sosaid port?

thanks in advance

Bird shot is fine. The Saiga-12 uses 3-4 very small gas ports as opposed to one larger one like in the 47.

How easy is it to keep line up on a moving target? Like skeet or something.

As easy as you want to make it.

Out of the box Siagas feel just like any other shotgun. Can say how a pistol grip converted one is.

Myself, If I was shooting skeet or trap I think of a way to put a rail on it sights sort of short and showing up with a drum would be a big no no in the clay world, but worth the look on their faces.

The shot will be contained in the shot cup until it exits the barrel in any case.

my saiga 12 just eats ANYTHING put in it... these things are just like an AK in the fact that they just work.

the faster you shoot them the less recoil you feel.

if your just clicking off one shot at a time it still feels like a 12gauge. but if you run a 10 rnd mag thru in rapid fire..... its actually pretty smooth.

personally i think the pistol grip set up makes a HUGE difference.

im not done with mine as i still want to switch the front site and flash hider but here is how it looks sizewise in the converted set up with a 45lb 8yr old holding it.
