PSL stock with slimmed down wood.
Tabuk flash hider. RSA fcg.
Very mellow and precise.



Added a Versapod and a butt pad extension.

I did the woodwork. The butt is a PSL that was reshaped and finished.
The HG was from a block of curly maple. I used a mini-mill for indents and
cutouts. Simple tung oil finish. thanks.

Hi Rahatlakhoom,
Beautiful work on the stock as well as the conversion! I am working on a similar wood project for my PSL. I am working with Zebra wood, forming it into a Tabuk style stock. I think I will try the tung oil finish myself. Any pointers for using this finish?

Thanks. Zebra should be nice.
Just rub in the tung with a cloth, apply light coats.
You may want to take down the nubs with X-fine steel wool
after the first coat dries and keep going as necessary.
It will make an extremely smooth finish.
