What did you use for the lower hand gaurd retainer? Thinking of converting mine and didn't look into this part yet.

I made my own using a rommy ak-47 retainer and a collar we made on the lathe... By the time it was all done it took way more shop time then it was worth.. Dinzag arms makes the part for $80 which sounds like a lot until you spend a day cutting and grinding on one stupid part.
