Oh, this will be helpful. I can't give name, link, product code --

I'm not at home but got an illuminated 2x scope for about $50 that WORKS!

Can be used both eyes open but still gives some magnification.

I went to DPHarms.com and picked up a side scope mount with dual rails(the kind that you slide onto the side) for $20.00 and it locks in.
Then I went to Walmart and got the BSA red dot for $40.00 and it works just fine.

To mount it I had to get a weaver to 22 adapter.$15 at a gun show.

my romy with the sidemount rail and cheap-o bsa walmart red dot. the best part is that the scope rail attaches and detaches so easily, the mount is never a burden;that said-I rarely use it and only bought it because i thought it would look cool.. more accurrate than the iron sights tho.

I also bought what was advertised as a green laser from opticsplanet but 2 months later i got a red dot that barely works. when asked about their return policy, i had to pay the shipping and some buillshit 15% restock fee-FOR SOMETHING THAT I DIDNT EVEN ORDER.
opticsplanet.com.

that is ALSO only on there because I thought it would be cool...a bit overrated. perhaps if i had one that actually worked and was mounted under the barrel?

..yeah-thats the ticket.
