Hey, I bought one of those scope mounts for the side rail like that but when I put it on the top rail isn't centered on the rifle. Is there a way to center it or is there something off with my side rail?

Not that I know of. I was pissed when I discovered this as well, but was told shortly after that most of them are like this..

I read that many AK scope mounts are off set to the left as Russians are trained to use a scoped AK with there left eye leaving there right eye open.I like the setup as I lost my rt eye and am rt handed.

It's not offset to the left, it's to the right and it's quite a bit off, nearly half an inch

I like my Kobra. It isn't dirt cheap, but it isn't expensive either.

No , but how about an Aimpoint C3 on an Ultimak?

Just kidding....

If it's just for a plinker , it's like dotting a 10/22--no big deal.
I use one of the $70 - $80 dots from Cabella's on a plinker AK.
I haven't shot it super hot so I don't know how well the dot will do if it gets broiled.
