    Default posp Scopes, need insight

    I just ordered a Veper in 7.62x54 and am now looking at optics. I am leaning towards thr posp 8x42d. Questions, are all the posp Scopes real, made in Belarus Scopes or are there "knockoffs" I should stay away from? Also I have noticed the range finder on these is based on 1.5m(4'11") instead of 1.7m(5'7"). There aint many 4'11" men running around so whats up w/that?

    The older one w the built in sunshades were the best, IMHO.

    Picked up a 6x24 POSP last year for my 5.45 Saiga.
    Works really well and was only about 4" off when I went to first sight it in.

    Good quality too.
