Default AGP 10 round mags

Tested out the AGP 10 round mag I bought from DPH yesterday.
According to this thread on the Saiga forum [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
They some times require a break in period or a slight adjustment to run 100%

I loaded it up and on the second round I got a jam, resulting in the photo below. I cleared the jam and finished off the mag with no further problems. I then filled it up again and dumped it as fast as I could, again it fed flawlessly.

I only brought one box of shells (25) and had run the first 5 out of the stock mag first. So my testing period ended there. (thankfully for my shoulder)
A nice feature is that they are screwed together, so they can be opened up for cleaning etc.

Bottom line, after the one hiccup on the second round, it ran great the rest of the way.
I'm sold on these mags even though I'm not a fan of US made AK mags. Plus they count as 3 parts for 922r. I will be getting some more.

Looks like the generation 2 mags that you're using. I need to order a few also.

You were running all magnum loads ? Did you try any other types ?

Yes, they are gen 2.
I was using Remington express. They are not magnums, but very close. 2-3/4" with 3-3/4 DE and 1-1/4 oz of shot.

With the Saiga shotties, it's not the load, but the length.

DPH has them for $49, most places are getting $59

I was going to give you a direct link, but I can't find them on his website right now.
DPH [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Give him a call. I know he had a whole bunch of these and I can't believe he sold them all already.
