We never said the words you've attributed to us . Home builders aside , I'm pretty sure the Russians , Chinese , Yugo's and Romanian's have built a few "AK Sniper rifles" . What we set out to build was a rifle that would consistently shoot a maximum 5 moa @ 1000 yrds . Did it . If somebody else has done that , well , I'm sorry I don't know them or I certainly would have given them credit .

Check some old thread's , guy's have been sticking old 1919 barrels and such on AK's for a while . I used to have a bit more time to post , don't so much these day's , but considering the Forum and my history with it , I really ought to do a good post on the actual build process we went though on this . Joe did some damn neat work on the fire control and the way we did the forearm worked out pretty fucking good .

Will if you have time there's a thread about the sniper AK in another area, maybe you can clear up some of our guessing on this.
