RPD : Revisited

[Red Jacket Firearms]

Finally got the forearm finished . It's made of 3/16's steel . Bottom and side rail's are steel , top is aluminum . Barrel's back to 16 inch's and 14/1 L/H with a M-60 type flash hider from Pirate @ Project Gun's . Buttstock is steel , well , blk pipe actually with a 3/16's steel buttplate . Math worked out to use the HK rear with the stock front sight . Getting the pistol grip on was...intresting . After all the cutting and grinding and rewelding I was able to get a Yugo pg nut welded on . Final touch will be an adapter from Pirate to use the SAW boxes instead of the reg. drum's , should be able carry 150 rnds belted .

I think she gained about 2 lb's over stock . Feel's like about 12 lb's . Balance feel's better though .
