Things to do with "G"'s
First thing is to get rid of the "G" , built on NDS-1 rec. with really nice red laminate wood furniture . Machine marks removed from bolt and carrier and given a nice polish.

Living in a swamp I did a little experiment. I left AK parts, as they came, out in the shed. Damn did they start to rust. But not the bolt or carrier. So me and a buddy got to think about polishing, no not our knobs Icarus, wire wheel, the bolt carrier. We did and left it outside for a few weeks. No rust. My guess is they started bluing them for military purposes. No reflection in combat. So there yah go. Polish your your bolt carrier. :) |
