Default Things to do with "G"'s

First thing is to get rid of the "G" , built on NDS-1 rec. with really nice red laminate wood furniture . Machine marks removed from bolt and carrier and given a nice polish.

Thumbs up Super Nice.

Polishing the bolt. Yup been doing the same thing on my recent builds. Does make for a cleaner look.
Beautiful job on those.

Was wondering that myself? Damn that dressed up those Gs nice.
Living in a swamp I did a little experiment. I left AK parts, as they came, out in the shed. Damn did they start to rust. But not the bolt or carrier.
So me and a buddy got to think about polishing, no not our knobs Icarus, wire wheel, the bolt carrier.
We did and left it outside for a few weeks. No rust.
My guess is they started bluing them for military purposes. No reflection in combat.
So there yah go. Polish your your bolt carrier.

They are . They really do a great job with them . They skipped on the buttplate , so if you want the trapdoor you need to reuse an old one .
