I am a huge fan of the show, but why sell the three other people 10% shares? Why not create the LLC and retain 100% of the ownership?

1. To be nice.
2. To reward loyal service.
3. Ownership makes people work harder. They have a vested interest in success or failure.
4. To show others what's possible given their loyalty and hard work.

Those are the first 4 that come to mind. Its also possible that the new partners bring something essential to the table thats worth locking up. The possible reasons are endless.
