I appreciate your words of enthusiasm.
We are happy that we could obtain these barrels to offer to our customers.
It did take a while to get this deal together and for the importer to get the barrels here.
The factory only produces barrels when they need them.
These were from the last production run and they are not scheduled to produce any more for the forseeable future.

APEX has new Romanian manufacture Chrome Lined, Hammer Forged barrels with an AKM profile.
These came right out of the factory in Cugir.
They are suitable for use in most models of stamped receiver AKM/AK47's including the Romanian, Egyptian, East German, Russian, Polish and Hungarian (except the AMD65).

I bought two of them from you along with a Tantal parts kit. When the package arrives Monday, I'll post on the barrels for this thread as to a builders perspective. APEX has never let me down yet, so I have to say that there are no worries for the upcoming shipment!

For all our customers who have recently purchased AKM kits, APEX has NEW Romanian AK barrels in stock with chrome lined bores.
The contour of these AKM barrels allows them to be used with part sets from many different countries, such as Russian & Egyptian builds.
