The answer to your question is no.
These are the same AK74 barrels we have been selling for some time and were also paired with the Bulgarian AK74 kits we sold previously.
We bought them from a supplier. That supplier would not reveal the manufacturer to us.
Obviously they feared that if we knew the maker the next time we need barrels we would skip our supplier!
What I do know is we have feedback from many of our customers who are happy with these barrels and how they shoot.

Will you sell a kit without a barrel?

Look on their site, I'm sure they are listed without barrel too.

In the GUNCO Vendors section I have a listing for the standard Bulgarian AK74 kits::

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

We also carry the standard synthetic stock kits on the web site.
Some customers have purchased our East German 5.56X45 hammer forged chrome lined barrels to use with this build. We also have the .223 Weiger magazines available.
Fun projects!

Richard

Just received a Bulgy plum kit w/o barrel today. Don't know about all the kits but this one was a new rifle that was cut up. All numbers matching kit.

Illya,
Don't that break your heart. New rifle cut away from the receiver, THEN they chop the barrel. I got two of them, matching numbers, excellant shape metal with storage damage to the wood, the plum kit was no damage to the plastics; pressed off the destroyed barrel parts & reinstalled them on a new barrel. Our government has lost their ever loving mind!~

Take care friend,

AB

Hey Dude! It is good of the government to help build new US jobs though. Just think how many new jobs are created to 1) cut up the rifle then 2) make US manufacture receivers and US barrels and other compliance parts then 3) reassemble the parts into new working rifles once again.

BTW - who's barrels did you go with? Apex ?
