Goryunov Model SGMT Parts kit with demil Receiver and barrel at APEX Gun Parts

Goryunov Model SGMT 7.62x54r with demil Receiver & BBL, Parts Kit $350.00

Original Polish manufactured SGMT model Goryunov parts kit.
The 7.62x54r SGMT is the SG43 Goryunov, modernized (M) transport/tank model (T) and is designed to fire both electrically and manually with the trigger on the spade grips.
Since this is based on the SGM the charging handle is located on the right side of the receiver.
The kit is in great condition and is complete including the demilled receiver and barrel.
The barrel was de-milled by drilling three holes into it as per current import requirements.

Is there anyone doing repairs on these demilled barrels?
I imagine they need to be drilled, reamed and sleeved

Interesting question.
I have read quite a lot of posts covering that topic over on this forum::

There are jigs for welding the receiver available and Greg Clarke also offers that welding as a service:

If anyone knows a company that performs this barrel work please feel free to post here.

I saw an order for an SG43 kit with mount, but did not notice an order for an SGMT?
If your order didn't go thru you may want to call our office on Monday.

Ive read several barrel repair options, none of which sounds safe to me, I widh there was a sorce for a new barrel I would like to build one of these, could be much cheaper then a 1919 in the long run

Have you followed/read the Goryunov threads over on the "Weapons Guild"?
There are repaired barrels in use now. There has also been technical discussions explaining why the repairs are working/effective.

As to new barrels, I too would like to know if any company is ready to make them. The numbers of SG43/SGMT kits makes the effort worthwhile. At APEX we have more than enough Goryunov barrel fittings available, the rifled tube is all that is needed.

Ive read it over and over, I really would like to build one. A US company could really do well to produce a run of these. You may get my order yet, and maybe illo try the discussed repair or wait to find a good barrel, or sleeve or something. We need some 100% receiver too.

You're absolutely right. I posted in the wrong thread. The order was for the SG-43 and mount.
